LYZI reaches the retail market as a revolution in payment solutions. This solution originated from the combination of a cryptocurrency payment app and a blockchain loyalty app.
LYZI is an application that integrates crypto asset management, buy/sell wallet as well as cryptocurrency payment functionality. Based on Tezos technology, a public and energy-efficient blockchain, LYZI relied on Nomadic Labs, the Tezos blockchain experts, to get the best out of its decentralized technology.
Various financial services in an accessible application for everyone
LYZI targets the general public and allows payments in cryptocurrencies, at point of sale and online. To date, it is possible to pay with 21 crypto-assets including Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, Avalanche, Yoon and Tees.
It is currently complicated for a merchant to accept payments in cryptocurrency due to the fluctuation of prices. LYZI responds to this issue by offering free returns in local currency directly to the merchant’s account on a daily basis.
True to its origins, LYZI is also a 3.0 loyalty service that allows brands to engage their customers around WEB 3 (NFT, store-to-store loyalty points interoperability, etc.) by allowing exchange, donation, transfer and payment in loyalty points.
Finally, LYZI offers 1 to 8% cashback on all cryptocurrency purchases at affiliate companies and brands. This cashback is 100% funded by the app and not by the brands as usual thanks to the cryptocurrency with the symbol $EAZY.
Beaugrenelle Paris, is the first major in the shopping center sector from June 2-30
In order to prove the app’s relevance to everyone, LYZI will present its world in a pop-up store in Beaugrenelle, the department store in the 15th arrondissement in Paris.
During June, Parisians will be able to:
• Buy Beaugrenelle Gift Cards in cryptocurrency, take advantage of the 10% bonus offered by Beaugrenelle Center, being able to make purchases in cryptocurrency in 115 stores.
• Learn about cryptocurrency payment with the partner brands of the operation.
• Find out how to increase their purchasing power with cashback.
Vision: Achieving Universal Adoption
While 76% of the French have already heard of cryptocurrency, only 8% have actually invested and about one in two have not done so due to a lack of knowledge of how crypto works.
LYZI aims to be the first WEB 3 financial services solution for the general public with a unique mission: to accelerate the democratization of crypto assets on a global scale with the goal of making them accessible and beneficial to all.
“Our goal is to simplify the use of crypto-assets and all decentralized finance services, thanks to a suite of accessible, fun and interactive products. We are convinced that blockchain should be an indispensable component of the financial and retail ecosystem. We already have 1,500 connected points of sale in pre-marketing stage,” he outlines Damien Batoro, CEO of LYZI.
“When Nomadic Labs was contacted to offer its expertise, we were immediately seduced by LYZI’s mission to make cryptocurrency accessible to as many people as possible. In addition, the Tezos blockchain, where technical competence aligns with environmental responsibility, perfectly fits the expectations and challenges of tomorrow’s consumers and retail players.” confirms Hadrian Zira, managing director at Nomadic Labs.
Lyzi’s solution is based on the service provider ZEBITEX, a subsidiary of the DIGITAL SERVICE group created in 2016. It is a French exchange platform regulated in France and Europe that allows the opening of a payment account for individuals and professionals. Launched in 2018, it is a PSAN registered with the AMF under number E2021-012 and a PSP agent with CSSF. With more than 25 cryptocurrencies listed so far, he expects a transaction volume of $1 billion in 2022.
