After launching the first edition in 2021, we and Viva Technology announce the winners of the three challenges for the 2022 edition.

The Awards Ceremony took place last night, Monday 30 May 2022, in the presence of the VivaTech management team and the prestigious judges of this cycle.

In this year’s programme, three themes highlighted the positive synergies between technology and the cultural and creative industries.

Here are the winning startups in each category:

  1. Web 3.0 and the Creative Industries : BiantiCEO: Kevin Primicerio, a platform for buying music tracks in the form of NFTs

The “Web 3.0 and Creative Industries” challenge rewards young French startups that have been able to offer innovative solutions in the field of software/hardware technologies and services. This victory proves a good mastery of virtual and immersive technologies and solutions blockchainand artificial intelligence.

  1. Fashion technology: the future of fashion : nimesCEO: Arnault Dubresque, Brand offer to customize your own jewelry using software developed on their website

The Fashion Tech Challenge rewards those who have been able to provide innovative solutions to the new digital disruptions facing the fashion industry. Nemmès responds to these challenges by exploiting new technologies as a means to unleash one’s creativity and create one’s own jewelry.

  1. Education Technology and Creativity Industries : VovaCoachCEO: Paul Huguet, a digital speaking training tool powered by AI and voice analysis

The EdTech & Creativity Industries Challenge highlights young startups putting artificial intelligence at the service of education. VocaCoach offers a complete tool, developed with the unparalleled help of oral communication coaches and audio analysis experts.

Our team, the VivaTech team and the jurors would like to congratulate all the candidates, all very well deserved, who submitted their project yesterday morning.

Competition for French startups

This is us x VivaTech challenge is The first technology competition for French startups in the cultural and creative industries. The goal of who we are Challenges is simple: to create innovative start-ups, to build the future of the French cultural industries.

Startups take off in record time

Last year, more than 100 startups responded to the claim that we are challenges. this year, The number of orders reached 168which shows the growing interest of startups in the VivaTech ecosystem and the vitality of the innovation and entrepreneurship sector.

The four companies awarded last year are already seeing results: Groover raised six million euros to conquer the US market, Faume raised two million euros to accelerate its development, and Alma Heritage created a platform to help cultural venues find revenue.

This year’s winners get:

  • Strong exposure to Vivatech and to our network (5000 people lead at ICC);
  • The possibility of presenting their project before an exceptional jury (owner capital, decision makers, entrepreneurs of CCI);
  • The opportunity to join our community;
  • Powered by Bpifrance and French Touch, Partners in the Challenge.
