AMSTERDAM, May 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – The Meta Festival is back! After a successful event in Berlin in 2021, this year’s Meta Festival, founded by global digital agency DEPT® and JOURNEE, has invited people around the world to peek into the metaverse. With opportunities to hear from leading brands, Web3 innovators and technologists, attendees will be able to connect with each other in a 24-hour virtual playground. It will take place Tuesday 28th June in Metapolis – the festival’s virtual world – all you need is a device and an internet connection to attend.

Speakers for the Meta Festival include tech, web3, blockchain and cryptocurrency experts, startup founders, artists, writers, creators and more. The first wave of proven amplifiers came from brands like H&M, Calvin Klein, Headspace, WIRED, Volkswagen Group, Coca Cola, Netflix, Paramount, PwC, Heinekenand names known in the metaverse space such as Kathy Huckle And Dressex.

“Despite the fact that everyone is talking about the Metaverse, only a handful of people have actually tried it,” said Max Benas, Executive Creative Director at DEPT®. “We want all brands and interested people to be able to discover the potential of the metaverse. The festival revolves around five themes: Web3; Immersive pure and challenging technology experiences; Pop Culture and the Betterverse. In addition to these five phases of continuous sessions, the event will include live programming tailored to each region, which will take place between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm local time in Singapore, Amsterdam and New York.

The Meta Festival is free to anyone who signs up through, although limited tickets are available. The festival was founded by the global digital agency DEPT® and JOURNEE, the metaverse company, both known for creating some of the most popular immersive experiences.
